Last week’s WW was so successful, that I decided to open up the comments to questions about book marketing:
Specifically, what do YOU need help doing, to get the word out?
And if you haven’t yet read my marketing book on Kindle, you can still get it for just 99 cents—through Saturday. After that, it goes offline until next month when the new expanded edition will be released.
So, comment below, in detail, and let’s get the ball rolling!
What is the title of the book you mentioned?

What do I need helping doing? Everything. 🙂 What am I doing so far?
1- I have a blog, and I post something about writing/my books at least once a week.
2- I’m working on word-of-mouth. Thankfully, I have daughters who are in (roughly) the age group of my target audience. I’ve gone to both of their schools to talk to their teachers and librarians. I’ve also had several people read the rough draft of my first book, so they’re talking to their friends about it. It’s a start.
3- I had business cards made up with information on them about when my first book is being released. I’ve handed them out, and am seeding them on information boards in coffee shops, grocery stores, etc. I also have friends/family in other cities and states who are doing the same thing.
4- I’ve already contacted several indie stores, in two different states, about having signings. I have three signings set up already, so those businesses will help promote me.
5- I’m working on getting my book into libraries around where I live and where I used to live.
It’s a process, but I’m working on it! 🙂
