Prologue

It’s been a long time, hasn’t it? A lot of things went down, a lot of bad things. I’m going to tell you all about them, the ones you don’t already know, and maybe some of the ones you do.

The bad things happened almost fifty years ago, but they were put into place a long time before that. I still remember. I’ll always remember.

And don’t think this is just going to be the ramblings of an old woman, one who’s lost her mind. I may have lost it a few times, and I even died. Twice. But I’m still here, and I know what happened. Just me.
